Gennady Mikityansky

 

Director of San Francisco Drama Group, Gennady is mostly interested in plays about freedom,  love as well as classics. Since 1998 the Group staged Purim, Something About Love, Let My People Go, About Fedot, Mafia, Dolfinarium, and Wedding of Figaro.

 

A graduate of the University of Arts in Kharkov, Ukraine, and then the Academy of Arts in Moscow, Russia, Gennady is an established author and director. His awards include the “Best Director” prizes at theatrical festivals in Sofia, Bulgaria and Bucharest, Romania, the “Best Performance” prize on a festival in Oakland, CA and a 2004 nomination for Charles Bronfman Award.
